General Dentist in Brookline, MA & Bioengineering Fellow at Harvard University. My research interests include developing biomaterials and engineering approaches to improve biomedicine, with applications in stem cell biology, immunotherapies, and regenerative medicine. In 2016, I was awarded a National Institutes of Health K08 Mentored Clinical Scientist Research Career Development Award from the NIDCR. I am studying the role of extracellular matrix mechanical properties in affecting immuno-modulation and cell fate. Also in 2016, I was the recipient of a Royal Society of Chemistry's Emerging Technologies Prize for my work with Adam Celiz, PhD from the University of Nottingham on a novel therapeutic biomaterial for regenerative dental applications. http://mooneylab.seas.harvard.edu/people/kyle-vining
